What is the movie Paranormal Activity about?
I’ve heard how scary this movie is and I’ve seen many commercials, but I’m not exactly sure what it’s about. Yeah, I understand that its about paranormal activity suring the night (obviously). But for those who have seen it, or anyone who knows about it, what’s the storyline?
about a couple who try to catch paranormal activity that has been following his wife since she was young. it builds up throughout the movie, ……i just saw it an hr ago, dont really wanna go to sleeep :/

Katie, who lives with her boyfriend Micah, has been haunted by a "being" ever since she was eight. Throughout her life, strange things have happened, such as hearing footsteps, scratching on the walls, or the feeling that someone is watching her.
So Micah goes out and buys a big fancy video camera, hoping to catch this ghost or whatever it is in action. He’s pretty excited about it, and the first half of the movie is basically him following Katie around with the camera, setting it all up, and hoping something will happen. Eventually, things DO start to happen — pretty freaky things — and they’re all caught on camera.
Katie wants him to stop filming, as she thinks that’s making the situation worse; but Micah is too set on catching the thing to listen. Despite the warning of the paranormal investigator who comes to visit, Micah attempts to contact the being with a ouija board, which really pisses it off; and things get freakier and freakier.
The movie IS pretty scary, although I think some of the hype goes a little too far. I can’t imagine anyone running out of the theater in tears (as some of the reviews claim), or not being able to sleep for days afterwards. But it’s definitely a scary movie… and if you like to be scared, it’s a lot of fun!

Just came back from seeing the movie and it was pretty scary! When I got home, I had goose bumps walking into my house thinking about the whole movie! Good movie!

honestly most of the movie is just like a big ass build up to the ending which was freakin insane man. It is better if you watch it in a big ass group today i just watched it with 5 other people i suggest maybe 8 lol so yea it was pretty damn scary.

Honestly, you should just watch it… it best not to know anything about it, thats how u get the full experiance. Its freaky as hell and other than catcging the activities on video, it has no stroyline
