Symbolic meaning of black and purple violets?
I keep having reoccurring dreams of black, purple, and sometimes yellow violets. I’ve tried looking around and trying to see where I could of seen violets and subconsciously remembered them, but I can’t find any. Best answer goes to someone with a nice, detailed description.
The black violets are usually wilted, but the purple and yellow ones are usually extremely healthy.

purple violets symbolize deep feelings about something. deep knowledge, deep love, deep sadness, deep understanding — basically really strong feelings

black violets can mean that you are feeling guilty about something – something you said, something you did, something you intenionally didnt mention.

yellow violets sometimes symbolize happiness, but it doesnt seem to fit with the black and purple violets. yellow also means distraction or ignorance so putting it all together…

you are having deep feelings of guilt about something you forgot or maybe ignored – intentionally or not

Violets symbolize secrets. In dreams they can mean secrets kept or secrets betrayed.

To see violets in your dream, signifies joy and possible marital bliss.

BLACK symbolizes the unknown, unconscious, danger, mystery, darkness, death, mourning, hate or malice.

If the feeling in the dream is one of joy, blackness could imply hidden spirituality and divine qualities.

PURPLE is indicative of devotion, healing abilities, loving, kindness, and compassion. It is also the color of royalty, high rank, and dignity.

Sidewalks of New YorkSidewalks of New York (2001)

IMDB rating: 6.50

Plot: Six New Yorkers have an interrelated series of relationships. TV producer Tommy, who’s just broken up with his girlfriend, has a short relationship with commitment-phobe Maria, who he meets in a video store, and also hooks up with married real-estate agent Annie, who he meets while apartment hunting. Annie is open to a relationship because her husband, Griffin, is cheating on her, which she slowly comes to realize through talking to her friend/co-worker who’s gone through the same thing. Griffin, a 39-year-old dentist, is cheating with 19-year-old waitress Ashley, who he picked up in a park; she realizes she can do better when Ben, a hotel doorman and aspiring musician, tries to pick her up, in a belated attempt to recover from his divorce a year ago from schoolteacher Maria (the same Maria from the video store). Most of these relationships seem driven more by a desperate need to be in a relationship than actual love.

Which city is better for seniors, NYC or Honolulu?
I am 65 and a single woman. I have lived in Hawaii in the 1960s and New York in the 1970s. I live near San Francisco right now but I need to live where it rains because I can breathe better with some moisture and rain also cleans the air. I found Honolulu a bit provincial but then New York City sidewalks are slippery in winter and humdity is awful in summer.

Which do you think is better for an older female and why? If you have lived in either city recently I would be interested to hear about it. I don’t know what living conditions are now.

I would choose Honolulu. It’s beautiful, relaxed, peaceful and the climate is perfect year round. Honolulu is the cheaper place to live & people are friendlier.

New York is the complete opposite of all the above.

You are really having a hard time deciding where you want to live, aren’t you ? It’s a big decision & once it’s made, you will be free of a lot of stress.

I loved San Francisco when we lived in Calif. for 10 yrs. Its a beautiful city.

Pray about this move. God will lead you to a decision. He has never let me down. We must be alert for the signs.
God Bless you.
