The cause of depression? at almost 16?
Ever since I was little child till age 15 and 1/2, I was always happy and did not care what the world thought of me. After 15 1/2 somehow I got depressed and I actually did start to care what the world thought of me. For the past 3 months I have been depressed almost every single day. My mood lightens up when I talk to people about my problems but I also realize they are people in the world that are doing worse than I am but after a day I forget and become once more depressed from stress and pressure. My dad can tell I have stress since I gauge a tremendous nose bleed that can feel to almost a whole 12 oz bottle. I don’t know if this normal… My parents tell me I get mood swings because I am at a stage were a lot of hormones are active at the moment. Is this is true? And if so what age do you normally get hormones that play with emotion? Does it go away?

Yes, you are at exactly the age where hormones make a mess of things. This is the age where kids do crazy stuff.. wear black all the time, write terrible dark poetry, say nobody understands their feelings, cry all the time, or starve themselves, or stuff themselves, or cut themselves… or take drugs. And it is all very normal to feel these feelings, just not normal to harm yourself while waiting for it to wear off. And it does wear off. You sound pretty grounded. You seem to kinda understand what is going on.. and that is a good step. It is a tough time because you are just about an adult, wanting to be an adult and your freedom and all of that, but still a child in ways and hormones raging all the time. You’ll be fine. Just be confident in that and do talk openly to your parents about it.

If are have nose bleeds of 12oz you need to see a medical doctor bcause that much loss of blood would make you weak. There are many reasons for depression if you didn’t have it before 151/2 I don’t think you have depression now if you do see a Psychiatrist now. It could be that you dislike somethings and get depressed but that will pass.

Part of it is hormones, growing more self-conscious is a normal part of development, but part is from the environment and can be helped.
Stop feeling guilty about the people who have it worse than you when you take care of your own problems, it’s not because you’re not the worst off that your problems should be neglected. If you have good enough friends to share your bad days with, it’s great and it would be a pity to waste such a chance.
See if there is any of your sources of stress that you can reduce. Make sure you sleep enough, if you have conflicts going on, try to settle them or avoid the situations they come up, and most importantly, if you feel things slipping out of your control, don’t wait and seek help. You deserve to be well and you deserve what it takes to achieve it. When you grow into a healthy and successful adult you’ll be able to return the favor to society.

Alright so I realiza that since I am over the legal age of 18, if I just left my house it would not be technically running away. But that’s what I’m doing. I’ll give you a little bit of information to fully understand so you’re able to answer the question I’m going to ask though. So, let me say first that I am not leaving my parents house out of hate, anger, or anything cliche like that. My reason is that I just want to live my life the way I’ve always been wanting to. And that’s very hard to do when you have one of the most judgmental people as your mom. I don’t necessarily want to go and do bad things but just I guess not have to worry if what I am doing is going to be approved by her.

I feel as though I have a pretty flawless plan as to how I am going to do this as well. What I am going to do is at night when both my parents are sleeping, my boyfriend is going to help me get all my stuff out of my room and put it all into his car. I have written a long letter to my parents that I will be leaving on the kitchen counter where they will easily see in the morning. In this letter, I will explain my reasoning behind moving out, who I am with, and that I will contact them so they know I am safe. I know it will hurt my parents but I feel like nothing else will get the point across. I also don’t plan on cutting my family out of my life completely. What I am going to do is after a few days of my moving out, I will call my parents just to say I’m safe and no need to worry. And then eventually, after things have calmed down at a tolerable level, keep more in touch with them.

As for where I’ll go, I have a place to stay and also a very good job already that actually pays a lot more than my parents have ever made but that’s beside the point. I will also be attending school once I get everything together. I do want to succeed in life and I want to go far with all my dreams but I want to do it the way I feel is best for me, not what my parents want. This may sound like just a pathetic (or no so pathetic) attempt at rebellion. But that’s not what I’m doing. I just need to start my life and I don’t want to waste another second being unhappy here.

So if your still reading and aren’t bored out of your mind yet, here is what my question is, finally… With being over the legal age and leaving a note, is there anyway that my parents can get to me or find out where I am somehow? Like by social security number? Or something like that?

Note that I will not be taking the car they bought for me, or my cell phone (I’ll be getting a new phone under a new account, new number and everything obviously), I don’t use any credit cards of theirs, and they do not know where the person who I’ll be with lives at. Please let me know if you see any flaws in this plan. Any at all, even if you are not 100% positive. I just need to make sure that there is no way that they can find me in anyway.

Evolve to Typhlosion and Electivire. Not a bad team otherwise. Replace Elekids thunderpunch with a stronger electric move. An offensive flying type move would be good for Noctowl as well. Fly or Aerial Ace. Other than that, it’s pretty good. Well balanced, type wise.

The pokemon you have are direct types like noctowl is only flying or lapras is only water. The most I can say is try to put some pokemon with two types in so then you can counter enemies that are strong against one of your types. I have a Gardevoir in my team (just because its awesome) and it tends to be the first to die since a. it seams like EVERY pokemon knows a dark move and b. its my only single type pokemon in my party and is easy to kill.

argh ap classes for junior year?
i wanted to take these ap classes next year..
AP Physics
AP Chem
APUSH
AP Calc BC

i took a biology course at a community college last summer and got a B, but i’ve never taken an ap class before so i don’t know what to expect. i got an A+ in physics this semester, and in world history honors got a B+, but i know the workload in apush is a lot more. has anyone really had to do three hours of apush every night?
in trig/pre calc this semester i barely got a B- (not really good at math)
taking ap physics and ap chem together shouldn’t be as bad as taking ap bio, right?

I think it all depends on how much work you are willing to do and the individual teachers. Right now I am taking AP Calc AB and APUSH along with honors Physics (which at my school has only slightly less homework than the AP course, which I plan to take next year). A lot of the teachers at my school say you need an A in honors to be able to make it in AP, but I think that’s only slightly true. You just need to be able to push yourself and prepare yourself for the hard work.

My school is on block schedule, but this would be my homework schedule if I was on a regular schedule:

APUSH – 1.5 – 2 hours
AP Calc AB – 2 hours (and that’s only AB. If you haven’t taken some form of calculus (NOT pre-calc) class before, I would reccomend taking AB first)
Physics H: 45 minutes
American Lit H: 45 minutes – 1 hour

I know there are people who take more AP classes than I do and they get all their work done, but they sometimes have to sacrifice some things like clubs, socialization, and sleep to get everything done. I would reccomend taking Calc AB first (you can always take BC your senior year) and only taking one AP science course. But if you think you can set aside the time every night, I say go for it.
